AUSTIN CARMICHAEL
CEO & Director of Operations
As the CEO and Director of Operations at Diamond Aviation, Austin Carmichael brings extensive aviation expertise and a deep personal commitment to the industry. With a background in aircraft ownership, professional qualifications with a Major in Aeronautical Science and a Minor in Meteorology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, flight instructing, thousands of hours of international flight experience, and nearly a decade as a Check Airman, Austin combines professional training and years of hands-on knowledge with strategic leadership.
Austin’s distinguished career includes flying Gulfstream G4 and G650 aircraft with outstanding proficiency and an in-depth understanding of high-performance jets. His rapid ascent through the aviation world showcases his leadership and forward-thinking approach. His role as a check airman highlights his dedication to safety and regulatory compliance, ensuring that all operations at Diamond Aviation adhere to the highest standards.
As an aircraft owner, Austin understands the intricacies and challenges of aircraft management firsthand. Under his guidance, Diamond Aviation is committed to providing top-tier service and innovative solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.

MATT LEEDY
CFO & Director of Maintenance
As Diamond Aviation’s CFO and Director of Maintenance, Matt Leedy brings over 28 years of hands-on aviation maintenance expertise to our team. Matt has worked his way through the industry from an aviation mechanic to an aircraft maintenance manager and a director. He excels in managing the intricate demands of aircraft upkeep while ensuring compliance with maintenance regulations.
Matt’s primary responsibility is to oversee all aspects of the aircraft maintenance department and ensure the airworthiness and safety of all company aircraft. He maintains a close relationship with FAA safety inspectors and works diligently to guarantee compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations.
Over the years, Matt has developed and implemented aircraft maintenance manuals and procedures, as well as safety and procedural analysis systems, which are necessary for keeping up with the ever-changing advances in aircraft technology. His in-depth knowledge and understanding of maintenance standards and strategic approach to optimizing aircraft performance drives his commitment to safety and operational excellence, which is crucial in maintaining Diamond Aviation’s high standards.
Tim Prero
Chief Pilot
Tim Prero is a recognized leader in the corporate jet industry, known for his exceptional track record and expertise in building efficient, profitable aircraft operations.
Prior to joining Diamond Aviation in 2025, he served as CEO and founder of four highly successful aircraft management and charter companies. With over 40 years of experience as an aviation professional, Tim brings unparalleled leadership and operational insight.
He has logged more than 32,000 flight hours and holds an ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) certificate across a wide range of jet and turbine aircraft.
He remains an active and qualified Captain on the Gulfstream G650, G550, G450, GV, GIV, and Cessna Citation.
Tim’s depth of experience and dedication to excellence make him an invaluable asset to the Diamond Aviation leadership team.
Tevynn Laws
Director of Safety
As Director of Safety, Tevynn is responsible for developing and overseeing safety protocols, managing risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all operations. He ensures that Diamond Aviation adheres to FAA regulations and maintains the highest internal safety standards.
Tevynn holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Sciences from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He brings a wealth of flight experience, having served as both a Flight Instructor and Check Instructor, with thousands of international flight hours in aircraft ranging from light to heavy jets.
With over eight years of experience in business aviation, Tevynn works closely with pilots, giving him unique insight into daily operations. This collaboration allows him to effectively foster a strong, proactive safety culture – one that he and his team continuously review and refine to uphold the utmost standards of passenger and crew safety.
SUSAN JACOBS
Vice President of Operations
Susan Jacobs has 20-plus years of experience in operations management, project development, and administrative support within the aviation industry. This is crucial to her role as Vice President of Operations at Diamond Aviation. Her extensive background includes managing regulatory affairs and guiding teams through the intricate landscape of aviation standards and requirements.
Overseeing operational procedures, she is renowned for her meticulous attention to detail, knowledge of regulatory frameworks, adept handling of complex compliance issues, and proactive approach to operational integrity. She ensures the company meets the highest accuracy and integrity standards.
Susan also ensures Diamond Aviation’s partnership with Argus and Wyvern is maintained. She works directly with the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot to ensure flight crew personnel are trained and certified according to the specified Federal Aviation Regulations requirements. She oversees our Drug & Alcohol Abatement Program, Emergency Response Program, and serves on our Safety Committee.
Her leadership and expertise are instrumental in maintaining the company’s stringent safety procedural systems and the trust and safety that our clients rely on.
DEBORAH DAVIDSON
Sales and Dispatch Manager
Deborah plays an integral role in overseeing all aspects of sales and dispatch at Diamond Aviation. She efficiently and effectively manages flight schedules and logistics by working closely with our team and clients.
Her meticulous approach ensures that each flight is perfectly orchestrated and meets the highest standards of service and reliability. She is a key company player who delivers exceptional private flight experiences for our clients. Her responsibilities include overseeing vendor relations, owner and customer relations, and tracking each flight from beginning to end.
Her vast background understanding of the nuances involved in aircraft coordination is key to her impressive customer service and sales, working with high-end clientele, detailed coordination, and streamlining of dispatch processes for all aspects of domestic and international travel, crew and client accommodations, and more.
